I’ve spent the last 20 years working for one of the biggest roadside assistance companies in the business. Before that? I was a GM dealership mechanic, turning wrenches full-time. I’ve diagnosed hundreds—probably thousands—of breakdowns in the real world. Not in a lab. Not in a service bay. On hard shoulders, parking lots, driveways, and ditches.
Why I’m Here
I bought Rustyautos.com because there’s a lot of fluff out there. Everyone wants to give you advice—but very few actually see what goes wrong every day, across all makes and models, in every kind of weather.
I do.
And now, I’m going to share it with you.
But here’s the deal: I can’t reveal who I am. Not because I’m trying to be clever—but because I still do the job. Full-time. And while I’m proud to help people on the road, I also want to help people avoid getting there in the first place.
