A New Chapter for Rustyautos.com

After many years building Rustyautos into a trusted hub for DIY mechanics, gearheads, and everyday car owners, it’s time for a new chapter—for the site and for me.

I’ve officially handed over the keys to Rustyautos.com.

This wasn’t a decision I made lightly. I’ve poured years of experience into these pages—trying to make car repair a little less intimidating and a lot more doable for anyone willing to roll up their sleeves. But change is a good thing, especially when it brings new energy and new ideas.

The good news? I’ve sold the site to someone who gets it.
Someone who’s not just another blogger, but a working mechanic with grease under the fingernails and years of firsthand experience. He’s been on the front lines—diagnosing breakdowns, turning wrenches, and dealing with real-world car trouble, not just textbook cases.

What’s coming next is something pretty unique. The new owner will introduce himself shortly, and I’ll let him tell you in his own way. Let’s just say… he’s got a bold new vision for Rustyautos. One that’ll take everything you’ve loved about the site and turn it up a notch.

You can expect the same practical, no-nonsense advice—plus some insider knowledge that’s not available anywhere else. I’ll still be cheering from the sidelines, but the future of Rustyautos is in great hands.

Thanks for sticking with me all these years.
Here’s to the next ride.
